About Sprogstarter – Meet Your Therapist
I offer assessment, consultation, and intervention for children and adults experiencing language and communication challenges. As a speech therapist, I specialize in DLD (Developmental Language Disorder) and multilingual development (bilingual children). I also bring extensive experience in speech sound disorders, language delays, and various other communication difficulties. Sprogstarter operates as an online clinic, allowing you to access specialized support no matter where you are located. If you prefer in-person sessions, these primarily take place in and around Copenhagen, where I am based. Alongside running my own practice, I work as a consultant for Sprogklar and facilitate workshops for educators and parents across Denmark.
My background sets me apart from traditional speech therapists: I hold degrees in both journalism and speech-language therapy. With over 20 years of experience at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) as a reporter, radio host, and documentary narrator, I have profound expertise in language, speech, and voice production. Combining these two professions allows me to meet you or your child with extensive clinical expertise and an attentive approach. Every child and adult is an individual —and the same goes for their voice and language.

What’s included: Fees cover preparation time, practice materials, and the option for video feedback and ongoing support.There is no binding commitment, so you can always increase or decrease the number of sessions as you go. Invoicing is done every four weeks.
Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made by 8:00 am on the day of your appointment. For late cancellations or no-shows, I reserve the right to charge the full fee.
